Appliqué all things FrogApplique is one of those crafts that has really got into my blood, so to speak. I'm always thinking of the next project that I would like to start. Browsing in fabric stores really turns me on as well. I visualize using patterned fabrics for various motifs – for instance I can see the coats of animals or a tree trunk in squiggly stripes. Dainty florals can be used for so many motifs, think of applique for kid's clothing and cot linen. Bold stripes makes me start planning a circus theme. I could go on forever, no wonder I try and stay away from any store that has a good stock of cotton fabrics.

I bet many of you keen applique crafters fully understand what I am about. For those of you who are beginners at this addictive craft, do send in pics of what you have made. It's great to be able to compare our work with other crafters, and it's amazing just how much we can learn from each other.
